TAIWAN
Precision Panel is the first Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) manufacturer to ship SIPs to Taiwan. Although Taiwan construction professionals typically design and build with concrete, many people in Taiwan are familiar with wood frame construction because of their travels outside their country. Since the summer of 2000, more and more Taiwanese have become familiar with Precision Panel Structural Insulated Panels. The first shipment of 15 duplex vacation rental homes left Eagle, Idaho in June, 2000. These homes were built in Chao Feng, near Hualian, Taiwan. Single family, multi-family and other resort projects have been completed over the years.

JAPAN
Precision Panel Structures has been shipping panels to customers in Japan since 1996. Japanese builders have long known Structural Insulated Panels are the premier building system for single family, multi-family and light commercial structures. Precision Panel SIPs have been used to build dozens of faimly restaurants, several other commercial buildings and residential structures throughout Japan.

CHINA
In September 2000, Precision Panel became the first US SIP manufacturer to ship and build houses in China using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) for the structural shell. With one of the largest and fastest growing economies in the world, China also has the least amount of houses per capita. Additionally, construction techniques are antiquated, with projects dragging on for months or even years before their completion. Precision Panel built the structural shells of it's first 6-home project with SIPs in 4 weeks using 12 Chinese carpenters and 1 US technician.
