Precision Panel Structures is the first to build SIP homes in China!

With one of the largest and fastest growing economies in the world, China also has the least amount of houses per capita. Common construction techniques are antiquated, with many residential villa projects dragging on for months before completion. Precision Panel SIPs are an ideal building material for China and, since the adoption of the Chinese "Wood Frame Building Code" in 2002, the possibilities are endless!

In 1998, Precision Panel traveled to Beijing and Shanghai to get an understanding of the market. Several forays into all areas of the China market have been made since, and Precision Panel was the first to build custom houses in China with Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) in September 2000. Six homes were built in the Xiangshan ("Fragrant Mountain") area north of Beijing and about a forty five minute drive from Tianannmen Square.
