About Precision Panel

Precision Panel promotes, sells, manufactures, fabricates, and installs Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to exacting standards, the highest degree of quality, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of each customer.

Precision Panel Structures began manufacturing Structural Insulated Panels in November 1995. We began with the understanding that if SIPs were going to be a viable building alternative to the marketplace, we needed to offer better service and more services than any other SIP manufacturer in the industry.

One of the claims that all SIP manufacturers profess is an "accelerated construction time." However, most SIP systems can't deliver on this claim. Most SIP manufacturers still only ship 'raw,' laminated panels to the job site (based on a calculation of total square footage required to build your home) and you and/or your contractor have to perform the detailed cutting of the panels. However, cutting panels on the job site can actually increase your construction time and the job site becomes very messy with foam! Therefore, Precision Panel began offering fully customized, fully fabricated SIP packages from day one and we have never looked back. A fully Fabricated SIP package includes cutting all panels to size, cutting door and window openings and routing the edges of the panels to receive the lumber connectors. After all the edges are numbered according to the shop / assembly drawings, we stack the panels in order and ship them to the job site.

One additional step we take that most other SIP manufacturers will not do is the pre-installation of all lumber material necessary for panel installation, including "splines," corner connections, door & window wraps, header material (if necessary), posts for point load bearing, etc. We ship all other necessary lumber along with your package such as the bottom plates and the top plates, which are installed on the job site.

In addition, we are the ONLY SIP Manufacturer with it's own full time, On-Site Panel Installation Crew and cranes. We can (and have) traveled all over the Western US and Asia to help cusotmers and homeowners realize their dream home. Having an On-Site Panel Installation Crew has really helped us to understand the best, most cost-effective way to fabricate panels, resulting in even faster construction schedules for every project. We can easily make the claim our SIP packages greatly accelerate construction schedules. Many of our Authorized Fabrication Shops and Licensees also install the panels they manufacture and Fabricate.

In summary, Precision Panel will fabricate SIPs to fit YOUR design plans. There are no design limitations and you are not limited to a select number of house plans. Our SIPs are delivered to your job site as a ready-to-assemble package, with all panels cut to size, door and window openings pre-cut and lumber installed for all panel connections if you wish. A detailed set of Assembly Drawings will also ship with your package, and the panels will literally assemble by number!

Send us a copy of your plans (mail, Fed Ex, UPS or emailed as *.dwg, *.pdf or *.dxf files) and we will perform a take-off and return to you a detailed Estimate via fax or email within just a few days. (Be sure to include your contact information on all correspondence)

Homeowners all over the Western US and the Northeast USA have found that Precision Panel SIPs were the ONLY upgrade to their new home that won't devalue, won't go 'out of style' (remember avocado green appliances?) and won't need eventual replacement due to wear and tear.
